We are aware that an individual or group, falsely claiming to work for or represent FIRSTavenue and/or our US office, First Avenue Partners US / FAP USA, L.P., may be operating an investment or stock trading scam targeting clients in the USA.
Our website – www.firstavenue.com – has also been cloned under a different website address – www.firstavenueus.com. Please note that FIRSTavenue does not have a US only website. We are currently working with the relevant website domain name registrars to take down the fraudulent www.firstavenueus.com website as soon as possible.
FIRSTavenue (“FA”), including its US affiliate, FAP USA, L.P., does not conduct stock trading activities in the USA or elsewhere. FA works exclusively with institutional and professional clients through its private market placement and advisory businesses.
In this role, FA acts solely as a financial intermediary between investment fund vehicles and investors. We will never ask clients to send us money or assets, and we do not operate client accounts. FA does not operate investment platforms or provide investment products or services other than private market placement activities and related advice.
We have reported this matter to the relevant US regulatory and law enforcement authorities. Anyone affected should contact the police or other appropriate law enforcement agencies.
