FIRSTavenue hires Stefan Sarles as Group General Counsel

LONDON / NEW YORK - FIRSTavenue, a leading global private placement agent and investment advisory firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Stefan Sarles to the team as Group General Counsel. Mr. Sarles will lead the firm’s legal expertise across its five offices in San Francisco, New York, London, Hong Kong and Sydney.

Stefan has practiced law for over 25 years in the US and the UK. He has an extensive background in capital
markets transactions, including public and private offerings and fund-related transactions, domestic and international mergers and acquisitions and general financial services. Stefan worked with Mayer Brown in Chicago from 1990 to 1994, then in the London office until 1999. Before starting his own firm in 2003, he was the Managing Partner at the London office of Fredrikson & Byron. Stefan received a B.S. with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his JD, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School.
